Selection Guide

The selection of an excavator orange peel grapple should be based on working weight, hydraulic flow, and excavator tonnage shown in the technical specification table above.

For small excavators (4–8 tons), models with approximately 510 kg weight and 20–70 LPM oil flow are recommended, providing better control in light scrap yard and recycling tasks.

For medium applications (9–16 tons), 1200 kg class models with 60–120 LPM flow are widely used in recycling plants and steel handling operations, offering a balance between efficiency and stability.

For heavy-duty operations (17–25 tons), higher capacity models with increased jaw opening and structural strength are suitable for continuous scrap yard loading and industrial material handling.

For large-scale port and steel mill applications (26–35 tons), the largest models in the table provide maximum opening size and hydraulic capacity for high-intensity bulk material transfer.
