How It Works
The tiller draws hydraulic power from the skid steer auxiliary circuit to drive the rotor. The operator selects forward or reverse rotation through the carrier's auxiliary controls. As the rotor turns, the 36 flails strike and break up soil across the 1830 mm (72 in) width. Reversing rotation changes the cutting action — useful for tackling tougher soil, clearing debris wrapped around the rotor, or making a second pass for a finer texture. Given the 392 kg (864 lb) weight, verify lift capacity and rated operating capacity can safely handle the tiller plus dynamic loads. Wear & Service
Primary wear components are the 36 tiller flails, rotor shaft and bearings, hydraulic motor, hydraulic hoses and mounting pins. Inspect flails regularly for wear, cracking or bending and replace as a matched set to maintain rotor balance. Check the motor and bearings for leaks or noise, and inspect hoses for abrasion or cracks. Grease mounting pins and bushings per the maintenance schedule.
