Product Description
The TGEC excavator tiltrotator is a hydraulic attachment that adds rotation and tilt functionality to compatible buckets and tools. Operators can adjust tool angle and orientation directly from the cab, reducing repeated machine repositioning on grading, ditching, slope finishing and other precision excavation work.
Also known as a tilt rotator or hydraulic tiltrotator, the TGEC line includes five models for 2–22 ton excavators, with tilt torque up to 62 kNm. As a manufacturer of excavator attachments, TGEC can produce custom mounting brackets to match the excavator arm and coupler configuration.
How It Works
A hydraulic rotary motor provides 360° continuous rotation, while hydraulic tilt cylinders adjust the tool angle up to ±45°. Both functions run through the excavator's auxiliary hydraulic circuit, so the operator can position the attachment without constantly moving the machine.
Control Options
Basic tilt and rotation can operate through the excavator's existing auxiliary hydraulics and factory controls when the machine is properly configured — no dedicated joystick or display is required. An optional joystick and digital display control system is available for operators who want proportional control and real-time angle feedback. Hydraulic circuit modifications for the optional kit should be performed by qualified technicians familiar with the excavator's hydraulic system.
